Faculty of Health Sciences

Established in 2007, our faculty includes five different disciplines, namely Nutrition and Dietetics, Child Development, Speech and Occupational Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Audiology, with an internationally recognized, exemplary education-training program, 47 Faculty Members, 7 Lecturers, 114 Researches. It is a leading Faculty in the field of Health Sciences, providing education services to a total of 2434 students, including 2088 undergraduate and 346 graduate students, with its staff, 54 administrative staff.

In our faculty, which cares about both the academic, social and cultural activities of its students, our students benefit from education and internship mobility in Europe and other partner countries and work in various volunteering projects within the scope of the Health Sciences Consortium and Erasmus + program. Our students do not experience difficulties in terms of employment with the advantage of having the opportunity to practice at Hacettepe University Hospitals accredited by the Joint Commission of International. 95% of our graduates, whose employment rate is 40% in the first month after graduation, are working in their own fields.

Our efforts to become a barrier-free faculty for our disabled students continue with individual adaptations such as exam adaptations, course material supply, social, information and physical accessibility, taking into account the special needs of their disability.

There are 7 student societies in our faculty, which cares about the social, sports and cultural activities of the students. Our students, who successfully represent our faculty in 10 different branches at sports festivals every year, both feel the unifying power of sports and become a source of pride for our faculty with their success.

Hacettepe University Faculty of Health Sciences Journal, one of the scientific publications of our faculty, is scanned by many national and international indexes.
