Hacettepe University researchers have so far won 61 TUBITAK Incentives, 15 TUBITAK Science, 6 TUBITAK Community Service, 2 TWAS awards and a total of 84 TUBITAK awards for their universal contributions to science.

Our promising young researchers were deemed worthy of 25 TÜBA GEBIP awards and 27 BAGEP award. In addition, our 40+ faculty members have received prestigious national and international science and art awards such as UNESCO, Goethe Medal, Vehbi Koç, Sedat Simavi, L’Oreal Woman of Science, Eczacıbaşı and Novartis awards.

Hacettepe University researchers stand out in terms of high h-index, which is one of the important indicators of scientific performance. A significant number of Turkish scientists with a high h-index have completed their entire career or major phases of their careers at Hacettepe University.
