The bridge between the Student-Administration…
Hacettepe University Student Representatives Council (ÖTK) officially fulfills its duty to represent Hacettepe students in every platform. Having determined its vision, which will make its existence permanent, as “The Bridge Connecting the Student to the Management and the Management to the Student” in its establishment, ÖTK carries out its structuring and all its initiatives in line with this vision.

ÖTK for students exists to improve their student experience at Hacettepe. Student Representatives begin to be formed with class representatives elected by the students in all classes by majority vote. Students of the Department/Program/Department/Major Art branch chosen by the class representatives among themselves also elect the student representative of the Faculty/School/Conservatory/Vocational School/Institute of their respective academic units.

It elects the “Administrative Board”, which represents the university students and has executive authority, in the “General Assembly”, which consists of student representatives from the Faculty/School/Conservatory/Vocational School/Institute. The elected president and board of directors are the eyes, ears and voice of Hacettepe University’s more than 40 thousand students in the University and society. ÖTK acts as the representative of all Hacettepe students in the national and international arena. The chairman of the ÖTK also participates in the senate and administrative board meetings and represents the students in the university administration.
